Founder Jamison Shaw was the first American to win hairdressing’s World Championships. He was featured on the Ed Sullivan Show and in Time magazine as a result. With over fifty-years in the industry, Jamison has received countless awards, including induction into the National Cosmetology Association’s Hall of Fame, the AVEDA Corporation’s Master of the Arts Award and Intercoiffure’s President’s Award. Modern Salon magazine has named him one of the Most Important Beauty Educators of the 20th Century. Jamison’s contributions include styling hair for the movie Deliverance, First Lady Rosalyn Carter, anchorwomen Katie Couric & Lynn Russell, Kenny Rogers and the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders for Super Bowl XXXIII.

Celebrity stylist Candy Shaw is the head of the Jamison Shaw organizations. The daughter of Jamison Shaw, America’s first World Champion Hairdresser, Candy quite literally grew up in the industry. An internationally renowned hairdresser, Candy trained in both Europe and America. Master of the French Technique, Candy brings an Americanized proficiency to this extraordinary method. In addition to her cutting skills, her knowledge and natural ability with hair color is considered to be among the best in the business. An accomplished platform artist, she routinely performs in places like New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Berlin and Tokyo. Candy also serves on the Board of Directors for Intercoiffure America/Canada, the world’s most prestigious beauty organization.
Candy’s been named one of the world’s most-published stylist with hundreds of images appearing in dozens of magazines annually including covers. Candy has been awarded Intercoiffure’s Award of Excellence for her outstanding contributions to the beauty industry and was named International Personality of the Year in Paris by the organization’s World Chapter. She is the headmaster of an Advanced Training Academy and the founder of her own color company SUNLIGHTS® Balayage, Inc.
My name is Aura Savickaite. I am originally from Lithuania. I have a 6-year-old daughter, and have been a member of the Jamison Shaw Hairdressers family since 2000. I love my career as a hairdresser, visiting the beach and the mountains, and good healthy food. Most of all, though, I love fashion!
Hi my name is Brooke! I've worked at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers since 1997. I love working here and just love making people look and feel beautiful. I try to focus on listening to your needs and working to achieve your desired look. My goal is for every client to come into the salon and feel refreshed and relaxed when they leave with their wonderful, updated style! I enjoy meeting and getting to know my guests and their lifestyle to give them a look all their own!
My name is Elsa Guzman-Contreras, and I’m originally from Mexico City, Mexico. I’m one of the instructors at Jamison Shaw that helps grow the talents of our new stylists. I like dancing and French perfume. I look forward to seeing you and can’t wait to make you look and feel your best!
My name is Wael and I’m a master stylist here at JSH. I’m incredibly creative and enjoy experimenting with hair and furthering myself in my profession. I was raised in Lebanon and moved to the United States in 2003. In my free time, I love camping, live music, a good happy hour with friends, and seeking adventure in the outdoors.
My name is Adrienne Knapp aka "The Blonde Whisperer!” I have been educating and making people feel beautiful at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers since August of 2010. Hola, my name is Erika Valentine! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where I worked as a make up artist and hairstylist for TV, film, and the music industry. I relocated here with my husband and two children. Since my start at JSH, I have shared my knowledge with other stylists around the country as an educator. Music, being outdoors with my family and staying fit (especially cycling!) gives me life. I absolutely love finding my clients’ inner celebrity and creating the perfect cut and color for their face and skin tone. Transforming hair from incorrect applications is one of my specialties as well as blondes and natural highlights on brunettes. I look forward to bringing sunshine to your day!
My name is Lindsey Wheeler! I'm a small town girl following her passion to do hair in the big city! My dream came true after joining the Jamison Shaw family and becoming a French hairdresser and balayage expert. I have had the pleasure of working with the Falcons cheerleaders, doing calendar shoots, photoshoots, being an educator, and traveling all over to teach both on and off stage for fellow hairdressers! Hey! My name is Sara Stewart -- please call me Stewart! I’m a stylist and educator here at Jamison Shaw. Corrective color is where my heart lies and is my specialty. I am passionate about beautiful cut lines and helping my guest discover their best possible look. I consider myself to be a very patient person and a great listener. I am currently a Brand Educator for our color company Wella and travel across the states helping other stylists become better colorists. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, fitness activities, and spending time with my husband. I look forward to meeting you and making your hair dreams come true!
Hi, I’m Anthony! I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended a performing arts high school and college. I was a professional dancer for 17 years and toured internationally. I thrive on art and fashion and my dream is to one day be a global educator with Wella and Sunlights.

I’m Brent, but you can call me Disco! I’ve been a professional stylist and colorist since 1994, served as director of hair color for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, have taught hair in 49 states and around the world, am an author, inventor, educator, and I volunteer to help children in need. I’m the hair loss and extension specialist here at Jamison Shaw, creator of the Brent Brush, and co-author of the book "The Hair Loss Master Plan!"
My name is Wassila Khawand. I moved from Lebanon to Atlanta, Georgia with my family. I realized that bringing out the best in people by emphasizing their natural beauty was not only rewarding for me, but has a tremendous effect on how people feel about themselves. I knew I wanted to do more and learning more about makeup and skin care, so I could enhance my knowledge and nurture my inspiration.

At Candy’s side for nearly thirty years, her husband Fred handles the business and finance operations of her corporations. With a background in law and a decade of practice with one of Atlanta’s largest and most prestigious firms, Candy made Fred an offer he couldn’t refuse nearly two decades ago and he’s worked for her ever since.

Like his famous mother Candy Shaw, Jamison Shaw Codner grew up in the salon business. Named for his grandfather, Jamison Shaw, Jamison Codner represents the third generation in the Shaw family’s salon business legacy. Having worked in the salon virtually all of his life, Jamison attended Auburn University Business School where he studied Family Business & Entrepreneurialism. Jamison is Chief Operating Officer of all three of the family’s companies: Jamison Shaw Hairdressers, Jamison Shaw’s Advanced Training Academy and hair color company Sunlights Balayage, Inc. In 2016, American Salon magazine named Jamison, age 26, as one of the up and coming young persons in the beauty industry to watch.
I'm Blake! I'm originally from South Carolina and I handle everything graphics-related for the salon, Sunlights and the Academy. The stylists help make you beautiful, and I'm here to help make the salon and its brand beautiful - nice relationship, right? I have a Bachelor's in Visual Communication from Francis Marion University and am the recipient of a Bronze ADDY Award for Logo Design. I'm also a cat person, an Olympic weightlifter, and I play bass in a punk band.
