Celebrity stylist Candy Shaw is the head of the Jamison Shaw organizations. The daughter of Jamison Shaw, America’s first World Champion Hairdresser, Candy quite literally grew up in the industry. An internationally renowned hairdresser, Candy trained in both Europe and America. Master of the French Technique, Candy brings an Americanized proficiency to this extraordinary method. In addition to her cutting skills, her knowledge and natural ability with hair color is considered to be among the best in the business. An accomplished platform artist, she routinely performs in places like New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Berlin and Tokyo. Candy also serves on the Board of Directors for Intercoiffure America/Canada, the world’s most prestigious beauty organization.

Adrienne Codner

My name is Adrienne Codner aka “The Blonde Whisperer!” I have been educating and making people feel beautiful at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers since August of 2010. I am a perfectionist who loves keeping up with stylish trends. I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids, traveling, and being an enthusiast of both high heels and fine wine. Let’s bring out your inner beauty together!

Hi my name is Brooke! I’ve worked at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers since 1997. I love working here and just love making people look and feel beautiful. I try to focus on listening to your needs and working to achieve your desired look. My goal is for every client to come into the salon and feel refreshed and relaxed when they leave with their wonderful, updated style! I enjoy meeting and getting to know my guests and their lifestyle to give them a look all their own!

My name is Elsa Guzman-Contreras, and I’m originally from Mexico City, Mexico. I’m one of the instructors at Jamison Shaw that helps grow the talents of our new stylists. I have been Protégé Program Director for more that 15 years, and I like to work with all the family( kids, Grandma, husband, wife). I like dancing and French perfume. I look forward to seeing you and can’t wait to make you look and feel your best!

Hola, my name is Erika Valentine! I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where I worked as a make up artist and hairstylist for TV, film, and the music industry. I relocated here with my husband and 3 kids ages 14, 8, and 3 . Since my start at JSH, I have shared my knowledge with other stylists around the country as an educator. I enjoy music, being outdoors with my family, and staying fit. I absolutely love finding my clients’ inner celebrity and creating the perfect cut and color for their face and skin tone. Transforming hair from incorrect applications is one of my specialties as well as blondes and natural highlights on brunettes. I look forward to bringing sunshine to your day!

Hello, my name is Phat Vo. I’ve been with JSH since 2007. When I’m not working I enjoy physical fitness and spending time with my family. Fashion keeps me inspired, both in and out of the salon. Hi, my name is Stephanie. I have been behind the chair for 14 years. I love creating seamless color that matches each of my guests’ beautiful personalities. I’m married to my best friend, Kevin, and we make a great team. I am a mom to two beautiful children and bonus mom to two wonderful children. They are my world, and I feel so blessed to be their mom / stepmom. I am so happy to be on this journey with my JSH family and our awesome guests! I love to create a relaxed environment for my guests. I hope to see you in my chair soon to help you with all of your hair dreams and goals. Hey! My name is Sařa, (not SARAH!) I am from Romania, and have been in Atlanta since 2002. Painting hair is my passion, I knew I wanted to specialize in balayage since I decided I wanted to do hair. When we immigrated from Romania at the age of 12 my mom and her friends would wait in line for me to cut their hair (a lot of faith in a preteen, am I right?) Looking back, I feel like I was destined to do this. Can’t wait to see you in my chair!

Hi, my name is Amy! I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and began my salon journey as a child watching my mom in her salon. I saw the happiness that was created at her chair and knew that I wanted to bring that joy to others. I started my own journey in a French salon, training abroad as well as in the USA. Living in Arizona, I was searching to advance my skills. I enrolled in a weekend Master class, in Atlanta, with Candy Shaw. I loved it so much that I moved across the country to be a part of this extremely talented JSH team. In addition to my passion for hairdressing, I love cooking, concerts, watching football, and spending time with the men in my life- three of them, Rooney, Bentley, and Iggy, are dogs!

At Candy’s side for nearly thirty years, her husband Fred handles the business and finance operations of her corporations. With a background in law and a decade of practice with one of Atlanta’s largest and most prestigious firms, Candy made Fred an offer he couldn’t refuse nearly two decades ago and he’s worked for her ever since.

Jamison Codner

Named for his grandfather, Jamison Shaw, Jamison Codner represents the third generation in the Shaw family’s salon business legacy. Having worked in the salon virtually all of his life, Jamison attended Auburn University Business School where he studied Family Business & Entrepreneurialism. Jamison is Chief Operating Officer of all three of the family’s companies: Jamison Shaw Hairdressers, Jamison Shaw’s Advanced Training Academy and hair color company Sunlights Balayage, Inc. In 2016, American Salon magazine named Jamison, age 26, as one of the up and coming young persons in the beauty industry to watch.
