Celebrity Stylist, Candy Shaw Codner, is the head of the Jamison Shaw organizations. The daughter of Jamison Shaw, America’s first World Champion, Candy literally grew up in the industry. An internationally renown hairdresser, Candy works with as many as six assistants to personally see between 30-35 clients a day. Jamison Shaw was the first American to win hairdressing’s World Championships. Upon triumphantly returning to America, Jamison was featured on the Ed Sullivan Show and in Time magazine. Jamison has remained at the forefront of the international beauty scene ever since, helping to develop Atlanta’s international reputation as a cosmopolitan city.
With more than fifty years in the business, Jamison has been the recipient of countless awards including induction into the National Cosmetology Association’s “Hall of Fame”, the AVEDA Corporation’s “Master of the Arts” award and Intercoiffure’s “President’s Award”. Modern Salon magazine named him one of the Most Important Beauty Educators of the 20th Century and the State of Georgia has presented him with the state’s “Distinguished Service” award.

Hi, my name is Suzanne Szabo & I am a master and instructor stylist. I grew up in the hair business and have been doing hair for over 25 years. I have had the privilege to learn from many of the masters in our industry and I enjoy passing everything I have learned on to younger and passionate stylists. As a hairdresser we take care of an integral part of someone’s individual style and I love being able to achieve that. I teach for the JSH Academy all over the country. Hi, my name is Kym Moore & I am a master and instructor stylist at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I have been at JSH for over 18 years and have experience in all fields of hairdressing. Hi my name is Sam, aka "Samme" and I am from Conyers, georgia and I am an actor and model here in Atlanta. I specialize in commercial, film, print, and voiceovers. I am the proud father of one son and four beautiful granddaughters, and yes I am blessed to still look 25 years old! I have been employed at Jamison Shaw for nine fabulous years and had the honor of doing my apprenticeship under the flawless Candy Codner, the stylist to the stars and elite. I specialize in the french cutting technique which leaves the hair with more moveability and softeness and you are able to create several looks at of one haircut- which is amazing. I have been at Jamison Shaw for eight years. My career and training was founded within the salon. I was lead assistant to owner/mentor Candy Shaw Codner. I pursue my career with deep passion and gratitude to my craft. As an educator with the Jamison Shaw Advanced Hairdressing Academy, I travel all over the country giving back my knowledge to other hairdressers who aspire to learn the French method. Always keeping in mind the "teacher learns more than the student." Featured in 2011 Sophisticates Hairstyle Guide Magazine's Trend Report, I aspire to grow and inspire myself with beauty from all eras. I recently won the "You Make a Difference" award given to me from Candy Shaw Codner. I reside in Smyrna, Georgia with my beautiful three year old daughter Charlee who may be a future hairdresser as well! My daughter was also featured in the 2009 Atlanta Falcons Gameday program as a "Future Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader". I also work regularly with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, with photo shooots taking me and selected others to Bermuda to shoot the 2011-12 swimsuit calendar. After gaining confidence in my work, I found my salon home here at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I've been here for over two years, mastering the French technique of color and cutting. I feel like I learn something new everyday! I specialize in French cutting and Balayage color techniques and feel that the french methods we utilize here are more face flattering and customizable to ever client's wants and needs. I also specialize in special occassion styles and updos. Night out on the town, to prom, to wedding hairstyles - I love them all! Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am an associate stylist and educator at Jamison Shaw. I have fallen in love with French Hairdressing and love that I get to introduce my clients to it everyday! I enjoy color and specialize in creative color. I love keeping myself updated on not only hair trends, but the fashion, makeup, and culture trends that so heavily influence and complete the hair trends. In the summer of 2011 a coworker, Stewart, and I placed in the Top 10 New Stylists in North America for Intercoiffure and competed on stage at the Intercoiffure Symposium in Miami. I started my hairdressing journey at a Paul Mitchell school in North Carolina. After graduating, I trained with Toni & Guy, building a great foudnation for cutting. After living and working in a boutique salon in Charleston, South Carolina I received an opportunity to move to Atlanta to further build my career. I joined the Jamison Shaw familiy and have since competed and been a top ten finalist in Intercoiffure Nouveau, the most powerful and influential organization in the hair dressing industry. At Jamison Shaw I have received awards from my peers: Most Valuable Junior Employee and Most Focused Employee. During this time I volunteered for St. Jude research hospital and as a result my heart melted to make all women and men feel just as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside. I then went on to graduate from Paul Mitchell the School of Atlanta in honors cutting, color, texture and received a master in cosmetology license.
