CANDY SHAW CODNER
Celebrity Stylist, Candy Shaw Codner, is the head of the Jamison Shaw organizations. The daughter of Jamison Shaw, America’s first World Champion, Candy literally grew up in the industry. An internationally renown hairdresser, Candy works with as many as six assistants to personally see between 30-35 clients a day. Trained in both Europe and America, Candy has acquired a broad base of knowledge, skills and innovative ideas about training. Master of the French Technique, Candy brings an American background to this extraordinary method to help students quickly learn this revolutionary technique. In addition to her cutting skills, her knowledge of hair color is considered to be among the best in the business. Candy’s work frequently appears in magazines and on television. An accomplished platform artist, she has performed in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, Detroit, Cleveland, Miami, Portland, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Italy, Germany, and Tokyo. Candy has served on the Board of Directors as well as the Atelier Chairperson for Intercoiffure America/Canada, the world’s most prestigious beauty organization. Candy has been awarded Intercoiffure’s “Award of Excellence” for her outstanding contributions to the organization and was named international “Personality of the Year” in Paris by Intercoiffure Mondial.

JAMISON SHAW
Jamison Shaw was the first American to win hairdressing’s World Championships. Upon triumphantly returning to America, Jamison was featured on the Ed Sullivan Show and in Time magazine. Jamison has remained at the forefront of the international beauty scene ever since, helping to develop Atlanta’s international reputation as a cosmopolitan city.

With more than fifty years in the business, Jamison has been the recipient of countless awards including induction into the National Cosmetology Association’s “Hall of Fame”, the AVEDA Corporation’s “Master of the Arts” award and Intercoiffure’s “President’s Award”. Modern Salon magazine named him one of the Most Important Beauty Educators of the 20^th Century and the State of Georgia has presented him with the state’s “Distinguished Service” award.

Jamison’s hairstyling contributions include Burt Reynolds and John Voight in the movie Deliverance, First Lady Rosalyn Carter, Katie Couric, Kenny Rogers, CNN Anchorwoman Lynn Russell, and the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders for Super Bowl XXXIII.

SUZANNE SZABO
Hi, my name is Suzanne Szabo & I am a master and instructor stylist. I grew up in the hair business and have been doing hair for over 25 years. I have had the privilege to learn from many of the masters in our industry and I enjoy passing everything I have learned on to younger and passionate stylists. As a hairdresser we take care of an integral part of someone’s individual style and I love being able to achieve that. I teach for the JSH Academy all over the country. Throughout my 10 years at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers I have won the Most Valuable Employee as well as the Jamison Shaw Award of Excellence.

KYM MOORE
Hi, my name is Kym Moore & I am a master and instructor stylist at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I have been at JSH for over 18 years and have experience in all fields of hairdressing. I love to follow the latest trends and attend several hair shows annually. I have also been involved in many photo shoots that have appeared in many of the top hair magazines. I specialize in my creativity and enjoy giving clients an edgy flair. I have been voted on by my peers for several awards including the Jamison Shaw Award of Excellence, which is the salon’s highest honor.

WAEL KHALEK
Hi, my name is Wael Khalek & I am a Master stylist. I have been doing hair since I was 17 back home in Lebanon. I moved to Atlanta a little over five years ago and started working at Jamison Shaw to learn the many French techniques. I consider my specialties being hair cutting and styling. I also love to do color the French way…balayage. I was voted by my peers as the Jamison Shaw Hairdressers Rising Star in 2007.

PAULINE HUYNH Hi, my name is Pauline Huynh & I am a nail technician. I have been doing nails for over 12 years. My services include everything from manicures and pedicures to diamond nails. WASSILA KHAWAND
Hi, my name is Wassila Khawand & I am a makeup artist and esthetician. I have been doing makeup for over 19 years. I am happy being an artist because beauty is a part of every human. I am a specialist in threading, lash extensions, lash perms, tinting and even mini facials. I can custom blend lipstick and foundation. I am always available for special occasions and lessons to match the perfect skin tone or fabric color. Wassila is November 2010's Employee of the Month because of her continued dedication to success.

Hi I’m Sharon Fritz and I am a master stylist employed since 1998. My strengths are beautiful blondes. I love hair to have a natural feel with lots of movement. I continue to educate myself and others to perfect my craft. I was born in Ethiopia to an Ethiopian mother and German father. I speak several different languages with a passion for people. Hi, My name is Adrienne Knapp and I am a Master stylist. I have been in the beauty industry for six years and so far have loved every minute! Hi, my name is Janeth Oviedo & I am a designer stylist. I have over 10 years of experience doing hair and my passion is doing color that includes balayage - the French technique of highlighting. Hi, my name is Elsa Guzman & I am a Designer stylist. I have been working at JSH for over six years. My peers voted me Most Dependable Employee for 3 years as well as Greatest Attitude and Most Focused Employee. I enjoy doing balayage and brosse, a French technique of natural highlights. I like the softness and feminine look that the French haircut offers. I am fluent in both Spanish and English and love doing children haircuts. Elsa was September 2010's Employee of the Month because of her continued dedication to success.

SAM WILLIAMS

Hi my name is Sam, aka "Samme" and I am from Conyers, georgia and I am an actor and model here in Atlanta. I specialize in commercial, film, print, and voiceovers. I am the proud father of one son and four beautiful granddaughters, and yes I am blessed to still look 25 years old! I have been employed at Jamison Shaw for nine fabulous years and had the honor of doing my apprenticeship under the flawless Candy Codner, the stylist to the stars and elite. I specialize in the french cutting technique which leaves the hair with more moveability and softeness and you are able to create several looks at of one haircut- which is amazing. I also enjoy doing color and my favorite technique is balayage, which is our famous natural looking highlights. It makes people think "does she have highlights or not?" The way I style hair gives the hair attitude, drama, style and uniqueness. SHANE MULLINS
Hi, my name is Shane Mullins & I am a Designer stylist. I have been a part of the Jamison Shaw family for over two years and am a graduate of the Paul Mitchell Academy here in Atlanta. I specialize in balayage and brosse, a French technique of highlighting. I am constantly involved and was on the stylist team for the 2009 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders Photo Shoot and lead stylist for the 2009 Atlanta Hawks A-Town Dancers swimsuit calendar. I work five days a week, including Mondays with several late nights.

TASHA SHAW
I have been at Jamison Shaw for eight years. My career and training was founded within the salon. I was lead assistant to owner/mentor Candy Shaw Codner. I pursue my career with deep passion and gratitude to my craft. As an educator with the Jamison Shaw Advanced Hairdressing Academy, I travel all over the country giving back my knowledge to other hairdressers who aspire to learn the French method. Always keeping in mind the "teacher learns more than the student." Featured in 2011 Sophisticates Hairstyle Guide Magazine's Trend Report, I aspire to grow and inspire myself with beauty from all eras. I recently won the "You Make a Difference" award given to me from Candy Shaw Codner. I reside in Smyrna, Georgia with my beautiful three year old daughter Charlee who may be a future hairdresser as well! My daughter was also featured in the 2009 Atlanta Falcons Gameday program as a "Future Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader". I also work regularly with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, with photo shooots taking me and selected others to Bermuda to shoot the 2011-12 swimsuit calendar. Photo shooots are one of my main pleasure of the industry. Yet being behind the chair and making a woman feel her best is what makes my heart soar.

PHAT VO
Hi, my name is Phat Vo & I am an associate stylist. I am Vietnamese and have a true passion for hairdressing. I love to make people feel good and look great. I am a great colorist and also great at finishing hair. I offer my clients exceptional massage shampoos and my specialty is the curly “sexy” blow-dry that can make you ready for the red carpet or any occasion. I have participated in many photo shoots with my mentor Candy Shaw Codner.

NICOLE SAWYER
Hi, my name is Nicole Sawyer, I graduated from Paul Mitchell Esani in 2008. I began my career in a small salon in Buford, Georgia. After gaining confidence in my work, I found my salon home here at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I've been here for over two years, mastering the French technique of color and cutting. I feel like I learn something new everyday! I specialize in French cutting and Balayage color techniques and feel that the french methods we utilize here are more face flattering and customizable to ever client's wants and needs. I also specialize in special occassion styles and updos. Night out on the town, to prom, to wedding hairstyles - I love them all! I try to create a style that flatters and pleases my client whether it be a haircut, color, or style. I push the limits of my creativity and help my clients find the most suitable styles for them that works with their lifestyle. The biggest compliment a client can give me is to say "I love my hair!"

KELSEY MEWBORN
Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am an associate stylist and educator at Jamison Shaw. I have fallen in love with French Hairdressing and love that I get to introduce my clients to it everyday! I enjoy color and specialize in creative color. I love keeping myself updated on not only hair trends, but the fashion, makeup, and culture trends that so heavily influence and complete the hair trends. In the summer of 2011 a coworker, Stewart, and I placed in the Top 10 New Stylists in North America for Intercoiffure and competed on stage at the Intercoiffure Symposium in Miami. We plan on continuing to compete in International competitions. I would love to see you soon and introduce you to the beauty of french hairdressing and Jamison Shaw Hairdressers!

SARA "STEWART"

I started my hairdressing journey at a Paul Mitchell school in North Carolina. After graduating, I trained with Toni & Guy, building a great foudnation for cutting. After living and working in a boutique salon in Charleston, South Carolina I received an opportunity to move to Atlanta to further build my career. I joined the Jamison Shaw familiy and have since competed and been a top ten finalist in Intercoiffure Nouveau, the most powerful and influential organization in the hair dressing industry. At Jamison Shaw I have received awards from my peers: Most Valuable Junior Employee and Most Focused Employee. More recently I was published in the top trade magazine, Modern Salon, for my work and creativity. I am very passionate about my craft - learning, teaching, and stretching my mind and the mind of others whom I educate.

LINDSEY MELDER
Hi, my name is Lindsey! I graduated from the Aveda Institute of Atlanta in 2011. I have been with JSH since October 2011 and I have had the pleasure of training under Suzanne Szabo and Candy Shaw Codner. I am an associate stylist, who is always keeping up with education and the newest looks. Being a hair dresser has always been my passion. I love to make people feel beautiful and keep them up with the latest trends! I am trained in keratin smoothing treatments, balayage highlighting, french haircutting, and updo's!


KAYLA BARRETT My name is Kayla Barrett. I moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago from Denver, Colorado. I love every part of being a hairdresser. I love being able to help each person find their own style. I hope to see you soon.

AMANDA SAMSON
Hi, my name is Amanda Leigh and I am an apprentice stylist here at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I discovered my true passion for this industry while receiving my bachelor’s degree in Managerial Science at Georgia State University in the Robinson College of Business. During this time I volunteered for St. Jude research hospital and as a result my heart melted to make all women and men feel just as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside. I then went on to graduate from Paul Mitchell the School of Atlanta in honors cutting, color, texture and received a master in cosmetology license. My desire and drive for continuing education lead me to the Jamison Shaw family, where I was welcome with open arms, and I love every minute of it. I hope to see your beautiful faces very soon!!!!!


DAZSARAE JULIAN I am originally from Louisville, KY born and raised, so I am a true southern girl. My background started as a medical assistant in a trauma hospital. I am a very passionate person. I love spending time with my family, running, listening to music and travelling. The beauty industry has always been my passion. To me, everyone is beautiful, it is just my duty to bring it out.


BRITTANY HARPOLE Hi my name is Brittany Harpole. I graduated from the Aveda Institute of Atlanta. I have had a passion for hairdressing as long as I can remember! J. MELANCON
Hello! My name is J. I studied engineering in college and worked as a kitchen designer for ten years. While volunteering at a homeless shelter, I was asked to cut a man's hair. The next thing I knew I was cutting 4-5 men's hair per week. Through that experience I realized my true passion. I have only been with Jamison Shaw Hairdressers for a short time, but have learned an amazing amount. I love the energy at this salon and committment to Excellent Customer Service. My favorite aspect of hairstyling thus far is creating very natural color.


SARA HETZEL Hello! My name is Sara Hetzel and I am an associate stylist at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. I have been here for three years, and can't wait for many more to come! My name is Jason Dejeu and I'm a graduate from the Paul Mitchell School of Atlanta. After graduation, I was still eager to learn more and joined the JSH family. Hi my name is Helen Brewer and I have been with Jamison Shaw Hairdressers for over 40 years. Everyone here is like a member of my family and many of the staff consider me to be their "Mama". I started with Jamison on 17th Street over forty years ago and have enjoyed every day since. I have been recognized by my peers with countless awards but my most favorite has been the "Golden Heart" Award.

JOSHUA CROCKER
Hi my name is Joshua Crocker. I moved to Midtown in 2002, I am a beach kid by nature that decided to move to the big city with my partner. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Atlanta and was directed here to Jamison Shaw to hone in and continue growing my skills to make me the best stylist I can be.For me, every person has a certain style to reflect who they are and I feel it is my duty as their stylist to help bring it out so they can shine in every aspect. I feel our hair is a giant part of our identities, that it helps us show who we are, and it is up to me to give that to you.

FRED CODNER My name is Fred Codner and I am the lucky man that is married to Jamison's daughter - Candy Shaw Codner. As the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Human Resources I oversee the day to day operations of Jamison Shaw Hairdressers. My role is to continue to implement the vision and mission and build on the successes that has been set forth by my father in law.


ALLISON CHAPMAN My name is Allison Chapman and I am the Assistant Manager of Client Coordinators and Manager of Retail. I love working at Jamison Shaw because of the hundreds of fashionable , fun-loving, interesting people who I get the fortune to meet everyday. I am interested in matters of the heart and mind. JACKIE HADWIN-RANSON
Hi, I'm Jackie and one of the newer faces at the front desk here at Jamison Shaw. I am a graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) where I studied Theatre and Psychology. I moved to Atlanta to be closer to relatives and to be closer with my (now) husband who I married last year. I have a background in makeup for theatre and film design and have been blessed to be a part of both fields. My husband and I just bought a house in Marietta where we live with our pitbull mix, Pogi. I love working with everyone here - clients and fellow employees alike! I appreciate the opportunity to make everyone's day beautiful!

MEGAN GREENSPAN
Hi, I'm Megan Greenspan and I am one of the newest front desk coordinators and proud to be a part of the great Jamison Shaw team. I am from McDonough, Georgia but have loved living and going to school in Atlanta. I will graduate from Georgia State University with a degree in Sociology. I have always loved fashion and looking at the newest trends and have enjoyed being around all the creativity here at Jamison Shaw.
