Our overriding commitment to education is the foundation of our success. While many salons “say they educate”, at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers we do it every day and we are absolutely committed to it. Jamison Shaw Advanced Hairdressing Systems, our advanced training academy, established in 1995, has trained thousands of stylists across the U.S. and Europe in French Cutting and styling techniques and French coloring and Balyage highlighting . As an employee of Jamison Shaw Hairdressers your training includes participation in our very extensive in-house education and also in our Academy’s classes (valued at $520 per seminar to outside students). Additionally, we strive to bring the best talent in the business into the salon for our in-house education.

Apply in person any Monday through Friday at the salon or print our online application and fax or email it along with your resume. Interviews will be setup for chosen applicants on Tuesdays from 12-8.

| In Georgia, you can either attend beauty school or apprentice in a salon to be eligible to take the State's cosmetology licensing exam and become a hairdresser. Jamison Shaw Hairdressers hires both licensed professionals who have attended beauty school as well as those persons who have not in order to train them through our apprentice program. If you are a happy, outgoing, and creative individual, with an interest in cosmetology, our apprentice program may be right for you. As a Jamison Shaw Hairdressers apprentice, you receive wages, tips, and are eligible for benefits while learning to be a hairdresser. If you are a beauty school graduate, or licensed professional, Jamison Shaw Hairdressers is also interested in talking to you! |
